New Canon 70D features revolutionary new video focus tech, ups Canon's mid-range offering

Canon has announced its replacement for the very popular Canon EOS 60D with its new Canon EOS 70D. While for the most part the camera is a subtle upgrade, there is one pretty exciting new piece of tech included. Video (and LiveView) focus has been greatly improved by turning many of the pixels in the sensor into mini phase-detect AF detectors.
