cardinal spread eagled in snow
Many years ago I came in second place in an art show in Indiana. the winner had captured a cardinal almost full frame spreadeagled in the snow. I new then I would not quit until I had an image like it here is one of my best so far. Thanks Randall

I love the pose. Not sure what its posing on, but if it was a pine tree bough the image would be insanely perfect!

Thanks David -what it is, is the handle of an antique bark basket I had left out in the yard the day before getting shots of birds in the basket. It's all wood and very natural with a snow background.
Thanks Randall
